TECHNOLOGY CALLING.....

WANT TO CHECK POWER OF YOUR SMARTPHONE?? it’s Possible.....

A new application has been developed which can help check the power being consumed by the application loaded on SMARTPHONES. Students and professors at university of Michigan have developed a application called ‘POWER TUTOR’ for the android Smartphone.

Lide zang, a developer of product and a doctoral student in department of electrical engineering and computer science, said:”Today, we expect our phone to realize more and more functions, and we also expect their battery to last. Power Tutor will help make that possible.”

Power Tutor can show in real time how four different phone components use power: the screen, the network interface, the processor, and the global positioning system receiver.
To create the application researchers disassembled their phones and installed electrical current meters. Then they determine the relation between the phone’s internal state (how bright is the screen is, for example) and the actual power consumption. That allowed them to produce a software model capable of estimating the power use of any program the phone is running with less than 5% error.

"Save It or Loose It !! "

SAVE IT, Or LOOSE IT!!

This weekend when I woke up, I was having my bed tea and the cool and refreshing air which was kissing my chicks automatically drew my attention towards my room’s window, it was a real eye candy to see the bunch of lush green trees dancing over there and giving me the feeling that they were performing on wake up song for me!! And then and there I thought “That’s what- NATURE GIVE TO HUMANS. “

Later on I went to a car service centre for some maintenance work to be done in my car. I was passing through a highway. There was very heavy traffic over there hundreds of vehicles running over there exhaling grey or black smoke; even it was hard to drive the car with its windows open. If one has to breathe comfortably he has to at least pack himself in to his car. While I was waiting on traffics red light I thought “That’s what-HUMANS GIVE TO HUMANS.”

Due to heavy traffic jams on highway after servicing my car I returned from anther rout which was through main city. The path was smooth with big construction work either completed or in progress on almost each corner of city. I remember the city wasn’t this much crowded before few years. There was enough of greenery available at frequent distances. And watch the scene now!! It’s all heavily changed. The need & greed of man to exploit the available source has gone up to maximum. So, the greenery which was ‘frequently seen’ few years ago is now ‘Rarely seen’. And all this made me think again “That’s what-HUMANS GIVE TO NATURE.”

Dear friends now it’s time to really think on some of very impotent issues concerning our ‘NATURE’ and ‘ENVIRONMENT’. At least we should stop demolishing it or else the time isn’t far away that we will going to lose it very soon.
Various Factors In Which Human Beings Are Affecting Environment-

AIR Pollution:-

Can Somebody Tell Me Where Can I Get Fresh Air to Breath??”That’s the question which everyone will going to ask just after few years from now. The reason behind this is the rapid increase in air pollution the air in our environment will become unfit for human-beings. The smoke coming out from chimneys of big industries, vehicles and various other mode which uses Non-conventional source of energy are mainly responsible for making air polluted.

The main ingredients which make air unfit (Polluted)-
 Carbon-di-Oxide (CO2)
 Carbon Monoxide(CO)
 Ozone
 Nitrogen oxides
 Sulphur oxides
 Lead

WAYS To Check AIR POLLUTION-
 Planting more and more green Trees.
 Avoiding unnecessary use of vehicles.
 Adopting conventional source of energy (e-g. Solar, Wind, hydro energy etc.)
And many more.

WATER POLLUTION:-
“The Most PRECIOUS Gift Of Nature- WATER !!

Look What We Have Done To It --

The main ingredients which make Water unfit (Polluted)-
 Disease-causing agents such as bacteria, viruses, protozoa and parasitic worms that enter sewage systems and untreated waste.
 Oxygen-demanding wastes that can be decomposed by oxygen-requiring bacteria thereby depleting the oxygen level in water.
 water-soluble inorganic pollutants, such as acids, salts and toxic metals, etc

 Organic compounds such as oil, plastics and pesticides, which are harmful to humans and all plants and animals in the water.

WAYS to Check WATER POLLUTION-

 Use non-toxic cleaning materials.
 Avoid throwing trash, chemicals or solvents into sewer drains.
 Making a Proper system for disposal of industrial waste. Etc

SOIL POLLUTION:-
Another aspect of pollution is “Soil Pollution”, this results is degradation of soil quality and quantity. The ‘soil Erosion’ is one of major cause for it. The disposal of waste materials containing non-toxic and plastic in them in a way like burring them in land causes soil pollution. Waste which doesn’t de-compose makes soil quality fall and thus heavily affect its fertility.
The quality of soil and its fertility are getting heavily affected with increased use of fertilizers and pesticides. The artificial agent degrades the natural nutrients of soil.

NOISE POLLUTION:-
The major reason for Noise pollution is rapid increase in modernization and industrialization.
The demands for more and more luxuries from mankind results in increase in their production and thus in one way or another effecting in a cause for increase in noise level.

Some Of Real Deadly Consequences Of Various Types Of Pollution-

 Rise In Sea Level: Due to Polar Ice Melting At very Fast Rate.
Most of coastal areas will submerge into water.
 Fall In Ground Water Level: More than half of the world's population will be affected by water shortages by 2032, causing severe health consequences.
 Depletion of Ozone Layer: the various air pollutants are heavily damaging the UV protection Ozone layer. This will result in causing various threats to all living species on earth.

It’s Being stress fully said Now Days That “If the Pollution Is Not Going To be Controlled this whole WORLD will be DESTROYED”

So Dear Friends, Its Time Now To Take Decision That ‘We Will Start Giving Some Efforts To SAVE OUR EARTH. ’
We should remember-
‘’ Together We Can and We Will Make the Difference.’’

“ RECESSION ”

For those who are unaware of this word “RECESSION” let me first describe it for you, it means “A general slowdown in economic activity over a long period of time”.

Now the second thing which strikes our mind is “What is REASON behind it??” , so I should tell you , the basic reason for recession was the damned "Deregulation" of all financial activities in the US and worldwide.
• The sub-prime loan (what is SUB-PRIME??Discussed below) crisis has affected the economy worldwide.

IS INDIAN ECONOMY FACING A GREAT THREAT FROM THIS RECESSION??
One positive point in favour of India is the fact that Indian Banks are more or less secured from the ill-effects of sub-prime mess (what is SUB-PRIME??Discussed below) . A glance at Indian banks’ balance sheets would show that their exposure to complex instruments like CDOs is almost nil.
In India, still the major banking operations are in the hands of Public Sector Banks who exercise extreme cautions in disbursing loans to needy people/companies. As a result, we are not likely to see a repeat of sub-prime crisis in India. Though there have been a presence of big US/European Banks in India and even some Indian banks (like ICICI) have some foreign subsidiary with stake in the sub-prime losses, their presence is miniscule as compare to the overall size of Indian banking industry. So at least on this major front ‘we need not worry much’.

SUB-PRIME means ” Anything which is not part of prime. ” talking in details – In U.S. there was a great boom in ‘Property and housing sector’, The low interest rates and some other favourable factors helped to create conditions where it became quite easy for people to take home loans. As more and more people took home loans, the demands for property increased and which raises the home prices further. As there was enough money to lend to potential borrowers, the loan agencies started to distribute loans and that too with easy loan conditions.
Since it was a good time and property prices were soaring, the only aim of most lending institutions was to give loans to as many potential customers as possible. Since almost everybody was driving by the greed factor during that housing boom period, the common sense practice of checking the customer’s repaying capacity was also ignored in many cases. As a result, many people with low income & bad credit history were given housing loans.
These types of loans were known as sub-prime loans as those were are not part of prime loan market. (as the repayment from the borrowers was doubtful).

CONSEQUENCES OF RECESSION.....

• The economy has weakened.
• Unemployment has risen sharply.
• Profit reduction for companies, etc.

“No Body Exactly Knows -When We Will Get Rid Of This ‘RECESSION’?”

Let’s Just Hope To Get Rid Of It As Early As Possible.......
